The hike starts at the Alcanada/Alcúdia golf course and leads along Alcúdia Bay, where the Alcanada lighthouse and incoming ferries from Menorca, Barcelona and Toulon are popular photo opportunities. The trail runs through shady pine forests up to Coll Baix, where a refuge with seating invites you to take a first break. The climb to Talaia d'Alcúdia, past the paradisiacal Coll Baix bay with its turquoise-blue water, is steep and rocky, but easy to do. On the summit of Talaia d'Alcúdia (444 m), there is an old watchtower, which was once built to protect against pirates. The strenuous climb is rewarded by wonderful views. A steep descent leads to Ermitá de la Victoria, a former monastery that now offers simple rooms and the Mirador restaurant with sea views and Majorcan cuisine. Along the way, the hike can be extended by a 2.4 km long detour to Penya des Migdia, where a 16th century cannon and an adventurous passage through fortress walls from the same period await hikers. The breathtaking views from there are unforgettable. A look at the pilgrimage church of the Ermitá de la Victoria rounds off the hike.
